This sci-fi spinoff of the I Am Number Four Series, is a quick read for those who like this type of book. I for one, am a fan of I Am Number Four so this was up my alley. Generation One is the first of the new series The Lorien Legacies Reborn.

In this book, this is the after the original series. The new round of Legacies, teenagers who have gotten Loric energy from their allies the Garde. These new Legacies are from all over and are sent to a training academy to develop their powers and use them responsibly to help save the world. Taylor is the main character. She doesn’t believe or pay attention to much to what’s going on with the Legacies until she discovers that she IS one. I have only read a couple of sci-fi books these past few weeks, but both were great!

This book was on the New York Times Best Seller list for Young Adult in 2017.
